Wonder (Gateway, Part 4)
Monday, May 25
Matthew 15.31
The crowd was amazed because they saw Jesus change lives with their own eyes. The lame walked. The blind saw. The mute spoke. People brought brokenness to Jesus, and they witnessed the wonder of God.
Yesterday, we talked about how life can slowly train wonder out of us. But wonder comes alive again when we start seeing what God is doing.
Today, begin your wonder list. Write down one thing you notice God doing.
🌿 Jesus, open my eyes today. Help me see what you are doing around me and in me.

Psalm 77.14
God does wonders. That is not only something he did long ago. It is who he is. He is still powerful, still present, still working, still able to do what only he can do.
Sometimes we miss wonder because we are only looking for something loud or dramatic. But God’s work can show up in peace, provision, conviction, healing, courage, joy, or one small step forward.
Today, look for one sign of God’s goodness.
✨ God, you are wonderful. Help me notice your hand in the ordinary parts of my day.

Psalm 40.5
God has done more than we can count. His wonders are not small, and his care is not distant. He has been faithful in ways we have seen and in ways we may not even realize yet.
Wonder grows when we remember. When we look back and name God’s faithfulness, our faith starts to rise again for what is ahead.
Today, write down one way God has been faithful to you.
📝 God, thank you for all you have done. Remind me of your faithfulness and renew wonder in my heart.

Isaiah 43.19
God says, “I am doing something new.” That means today does not have to be defined only by yesterday. God is able to bring life where things have felt dry, stuck, or impossible.
Wonder comes alive when we believe God is not finished. He is still making ways. He is still bringing hope. He is still leading us into what is next.
Today, ask God where he may be doing something new in your life.
🌱 God, help me see the new thing you are doing. Give me faith to step into it.

Ephesians 3.20
God is able to do more than we ask or imagine. Our expectations are not too big for him. In fact, they are often too small.
This week’s message reminded us that Jesus is still changing what people carry. So bring it to him again. Bring the fear, the anxiety, the disappointment, the questions, and the hope.
Today, pray one bold prayer.
🔥 Jesus, I bring what I am carrying to you. Do more than I can ask or imagine.

Habakkuk 2.14
One day, the whole earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God. That is where history is moving. God’s glory will not stay hidden. His goodness will not stay unseen.
Wonder is not escapism. It is waking up to reality. God is greater than the brokenness we see, and his kingdom is still moving forward.
Today, look at the world with hope.
🌎 God, fill my life with wonder. Help me see your glory and join what you are doing.

Matthew 15.30
People brought their brokenness to Jesus and laid it at his feet. They did not hide their need. They did not pretend everything was fine. They brought what they were carrying to Jesus.
Wonder often begins there too. Not when life becomes perfect, but when we honestly bring our lives to him. Jesus still welcomes hurting, tired, anxious, searching, and overwhelmed people today.
As you head into Worship today, ask yourself: What am I carrying that I need to lay at the feet of Jesus?
🙌 Jesus, I bring my whole life to you today. Help me trust you with what I have been trying to carry alone.
