Not Dogma. Not Rules. Life.

The message of Jesus isn’t about believing dogma & following law, or else… It’s how to live life as God intended; the best way to enjoy life. Early followers were converted because they “concluded that they would be fools to disregard” his message. This is at the heart of what Andy says about following Jesus will make your life better. It makes us better Christians & better human beings.

We have to continue to present the wonderful news this way at Passion, to show the “essential connection to real life.”

I love the response at the end of the SoM (Matt 7.24-25):

“I will do them! I will find out how. I will devote my life to it! This is the best life strategy I ever heard of!”

I want this to be my heart’s cry & life’s devotion.

And I want to present his message so that people respond like this. This is why they come back. This is why they go to Deeper. This is why they invite others.
