You were made to know God and be known by others

Monday — Acts 2:42–47

The first Christians didn’t just gather in the same room. They learned together, prayed together, ate together, shared what they had, and paid attention to what was happening in each other’s lives.

God was doing something bigger than creating a weekly event. He was creating a people who knew him and were learning to know one another.

You don’t have to become best friends with everybody. But you were never meant to follow Jesus completely alone. Who is one person you can take a small step toward this week?

🎧 God, thank you for creating me for relationship with you and with others. Help me take one step toward being known this week.

Tuesday — Ecclesiastes 4:9–12

“Two are better than one” sounds obvious until life gets difficult. Ecclesiastes reminds us why relationships matter most when we fall, struggle, or face something we can’t carry ourselves.

There will be moments when you need someone to help you get back up. And there will be moments when God places you beside someone who needs you to do the same for them.

Strength isn’t proving you can handle everything yourself. Sometimes strength is letting someone walk beside you.

🎧 God, help me receive the people you’ve placed around me and become someone others can count on too.

Wednesday — John 15:12–15

Jesus didn’t keep his followers at a distance. He called them friends.

That doesn’t mean they understood everything or always got it right. It means Jesus invited them close. He shared life with them, taught them, listened to them, corrected them, ate with them, and loved them.

Before you ever wonder whether other people will accept the real you, remember this: Jesus already knows you completely, and he still invites you close.

🎧 Jesus, thank you for knowing me completely and loving me anyway. Help me become more comfortable being real with you.

Thursday — Romans 12:9–13

Paul describes Christian community with incredibly ordinary actions: love genuinely, honor one another, share with people in need, practice hospitality.

None of those require a huge program. They require paying attention.

Sometimes belonging begins because someone notices the person standing alone, sends the text, makes room at the table, remembers the name, or asks one more question.

Who might God be asking you to notice today?

🎧 God, open my eyes to someone who could use encouragement or connection today. Help me make room for them.

Friday — Galatians 6:2–5

“Carry one another’s burdens.”

That only works if somebody knows there’s a burden to carry.

It can feel safer to answer every question with “I’m good” and keep the difficult parts of life hidden. You don’t owe everyone every detail of your life, but healthy community requires letting somebody know something real.

Is there something you’ve been carrying alone that you could share with someone you trust?

🎧 God, give me wisdom about who I can trust and courage to let someone help carry what I’ve been carrying alone.

Saturday — Hebrews 10:23–25

The writer of Hebrews tells Christians not to give up meeting together, but the reason matters: we gather to encourage one another and help one another keep following Jesus.

Church isn’t supposed to be a room where strangers independently watch the same thing. We gather because sometimes somebody else’s faith strengthens ours.

Tomorrow, don’t just ask, “What will I get out of church?” Ask, “Who can I encourage while I’m there?”

🎧 God, prepare me for tomorrow. Help me come ready to worship you and encourage somebody else.

Sunday — 1 Corinthians 12:12–27

Paul describes the church as a body. Different people, different gifts, different stories, but connected to one another.

One part doesn’t have to become another part in order to belong. It simply has to take its place.

That means you don’t have to become someone else to matter in God’s church. There is a place for you to belong and a part for you to play.

Today, show up as yourself. Worship God. Make room for someone else. And take another step toward the people God is placing around you.

🎧 God, thank you that there is a place for me in what you are building. Help me know you, let others know me, and help someone else know they belong too.
