Luke 23.34
Jesus is being crucified, mocked, and rejected, and in that moment he says, “Father, forgive them.” Not later. Not after they apologize. Right there in the middle of their worst moment, he chooses forgiveness. That’s who he is.
On Sunday, we talked about how the cross shows how Jesus responds to us at our worst. This is it. Not anger. Not rejection. Forgiveness. The cross is not where God pushes you away. It is where he moves toward you.
Today, take a moment to let that sink in. You do not have to earn your way back to God. You do not have to fix everything first. Because of Jesus, forgiveness is already being offered to you.
🙏 Jesus, thank you for forgiving me even when I did not deserve it. Help me to receive your grace instead of trying to earn it. Today, I choose to trust your love for me.

Romans 3.23
Scripture tells us that we all fall short. Not just in obvious ways, but in missing the life we were created for, loving God and loving others. We do not just mess up occasionally. We miss the mark regularly.
But the point of this verse is not to make you feel guilty. It is to level the playing field. The cross is not for people who got it right. It is for people who missed it. That means all of us.
Today, instead of hiding from that truth, let it lead you to freedom. You do not have to pretend or perform. You can be honest about where you have fallen short and still know you are fully loved.
🙏 God, thank you that I do not have to pretend with you. You already see everything, and you still love me. Help me to live honestly and receive your grace today.

Luke 23.42
In his final moments, a criminal hanging next to Jesus says, “Jesus, remember me.” He has no time to fix his life, no good works to offer, no second chance to prove himself. All he does is ask.
And Jesus welcomes him instantly. No conditions. No delay. This is what the cross reveals. Welcome for people who have nothing left to offer. That is why we say, “You are still welcome.”
Today, talk to Jesus the same way. No scripts. No pressure. Just honesty. You might be surprised how quickly you realize you have been welcomed all along.
🙏 Jesus, I come to you just as I am. I do not have it all together, but I want you. Thank you for welcoming me and not turning me away. Help me to trust you more today.

Colossians 1.20
Through the cross, everything is being brought back to God, restored, healed, made right. This is not just about forgiveness. It is about restoration. God is putting things back the way they were always meant to be.
That means your life is not too far gone. Your story is not too broken. Because of Jesus, restoration is possible. Not just someday, but starting now.
As we head toward Good Friday, take time to reflect on what Jesus has done. The cross is not just a symbol. It is the moment where everything begins to be made new.
🙏 Jesus, thank you for restoring what was broken in my life. Help me to trust that you are still working, even in areas I do not fully understand. I choose to worship you for what you have done.
Friday, April 3 (Good Friday)
Colossians 1.21–22
You were once distant from God, separated and disconnected. But through Jesus, you have been brought near. There is nothing between you and God anymore.
Today is Good Friday, the day we remember the cross. Not as a tragedy, but as the greatest act of love the world has ever seen. Jesus gave his life so you could be fully welcomed into God’s presence.
Join us tonight for Good Friday Worship as we reflect, pray, and remember what Jesus has done. Let this be a moment where you pause and say, “God, your love is incredible.”
🙏 Jesus, thank you for bringing me close to God. Thank you for removing everything that stood between us. Today, I remember your sacrifice and worship you with gratitude.

John 14.21
Jesus says that those who love him will experience his love in a deeper way. This is not about earning anything. It is about relationship. When you respond to his love, you begin to experience it more fully.
Because of the cross, you are not just forgiven. You are invited into a real relationship with God. You are not a slave. You are a child. And that changes everything.
As you get ready for Easter, come with expectation. God is not distant. He is near, present, and ready to meet you. This is not just another Sunday. It is an opportunity to experience his love in a real way.
🙏 God, thank you that you want a real relationship with me. Help me to respond to your love and not hold back. I come with expectation to experience you.
Sunday, April 5 (Easter Sunday)
Colossians 1.22–23
Because of Jesus, you are seen as whole, restored, and fully accepted. Not because of what you have done, but because of what he has done for you.
This is the good news of Easter. Jesus is alive, and because of that, everything has changed. You are still welcome. You always have been. The cross proves it, and the resurrection confirms it.
Today, do not just observe. Respond. Worship. Celebrate. Let yourself say it out loud. God is awesome, and I want to worship him because of the cross.
🙏 Jesus, you are alive, and you have changed everything. Thank you for loving me, restoring me, and welcoming me. Today, I worship you with everything I have.
